BELFAST CITY COUNCIL

Working alongside Belfast City Council on an on-going basis, building a bank of natural imagery which documents the people of Belfast in a candid everyday approach.

HOME IS PEOPLE, NOT A PLACE.

Over the past few years we have been working with Belfast City Council to grow their bank of images promoting life in the city. The years of press style photography advertising the city are slowly coming to a close with this clients decision to take a new approach. Images of models walking out of shopping centres swinging branded bags stuffed with padding are being replaced with natural candid images of friends enjoying the city.

Belfast City Council has had us out at a number of locations, from St Georges Market to City Parks in the sunshine, and tasked us with shooting whatever unfolded in front of us. We even sent a team of photographers out at the crack of dawn to brave the snow and document all corners of the city.

Not all shoots are candid however. When we are assigned to do a cover photo for Belfast’s City Matters Magazine we tend to have a specific shot we need to get. The last City Matters Magazine had us working with James Nesbit in the grounds of the City Hall.
